We have been in the diesel trawler charter business since 1986, operating out of the beautiful Anchorage Marina in Baltimore Harbor. We offer bareboat trawler charters, with or without a helmsman, captained charters, harbor cruises, and hands-on training aboard one of our trawlers or while embarked in your boat. We also provide short-notice overnight accommodations afloat in home port when the schedule permits. From time to time, we move owners' trawlers from one place to another, and sometimes assist buyers with their trawler selection and purchase. We pride ourselves on the fact that we are one of the very few charter services in the United States that own our fleet. We only operate classic trawlers. Our boats are older, it is true. However, this is one way that we keep our charter fees down, as a comparison of our rates with our competitors will immediately show. We have the lowest fees in the business. Period. Nevertheless, our trawlers are clean, reliable and safe. In other words, if you are trying to concentrate on boating rather than the "boat" and the very latest "boat stuff", by all means contact us. All cruises are, without exception, conducted on the Chesapeake Bay. A typical charter lasts from four to seven days. Operations run from early May through late October. We specialize in facilitating the transition to trawlers, especially with regard to our tailored, individualized training program, which specializes in dockmanship. We are especially pleased with this latter service, and have been directly responsible for enabling many of our inexperienced clients to not only successfully charter a trawler from us, but go on to purchase one. We should be viewed as a hands-on, "get the job done" service, extremely attentive, and user-friendly, but definitely not "yachty" or "automated". We are small, caring, and especially well focused on our clients and their individual boating requirements. We maintain a low profile in the advertising arena to also help keep our expenses, and fees, down, We rely on the Internet and Word-of-Mouth. We are always waiting to be "discovered", and you have managed to find us. Congratulations! We really know a lot about trawlers. So let us serve your boating needs. Trawlers are what we do! Please give us a call or send us an email. We will take good care of you. That is our pledge. |

He has been coordinating the appearance of the hulls and top sides since Blue Goose's second season. The excellent overall appearance of the Blue Goose trawlers is a reflection of Clarence's attention to detail and excellent leadership skills. Clarence treats our trawlers like they were his own. |
