Economical charter boat Brandi Goose

BRANDI GOOSE is the newest edition to the fleet. She is our 27 foot "Baby Trawler", and is, by far, our most economical charter boat offering. She has two separate berthing areas, a single head, galley, and a small dinette. The most interesting features for a boat of her size are, perhaps, the separate aft berthing compartment, and the two zone air conditioning using separate units. Like her bigger sisters, she stages from the Anchorage Marina in Baltimore Harbor. Our acquisition of this specific class of vessel was under consideration for several years due to her excellent lay-out, economical performance, and reduced slip fee requirements. Her Lehman engine burns less than a gallon of diesel fuel per hour at over seven knots. Her down-east appearance is yet another of her many favorable attributes. This class of vessel is especially noted for her ease of handling. Like our other boats, we believe that she too will become a classic as she is no longer in production. The word is that she simply became too expensive to produce - a testament to her quality, and the most likely reason that vessels like her never stay on the used brokerage market for long. She is an excellent entry level platform into the trawler world and the Chesapeake Bay, due to her Lehman diesel power, reduced speed, and single-screw, inboard handling characteristics. It is envisioned that she will be used primarily by clients who want to concentrate on learning how to boat on the Bay while keeping things simple, and not having to concentrate so much on the art of dockmanship, which is required when operating the larger trawlers. We are extremely pleased to have this most welcome addition to our fleet. She is now fully operational. This boat is a lot of fun and is an extremely good value! Mother Goose would have no problem taking her down the ICW, and may, in fact, do so. We realize that our description of this vessel is a little long-winded but we are very high on BRANDI GOOSE. We are going to go out on a limb and make a claim that, because of her excellent condition and amenities, she is probably the most under-rated powerboat currently available for bareboat charter on the Bay.
