Blue Goose specializes, however, in performing trawler yacht deliveries with the new owners aboard, so that the captain  can also provide familiarization and training to the crew while en route.

Captain Bill Shermer and Captain Carol Jones Loomis are also available to participate in any trawler yacht sea-trial or trawler yacht shake-down cruise prior to the delivery of the trawler yacht to her next home port. At least three weeks notice is normally required to schedule a trawler delivery. When feasible, a delivery can often be routed through Baltimore so that the new owners can attend the Mother Goose Trawler School.

Both captains have extensive trawler experience and are 50 Ton Masters, with all of their documented sea service time, for licensing purposes, on trawlers. Sometimes, both captains may opt to perform a trawler delivery together. This usually results in a faster trawler delivery.

What Blue Goose brings to a trawler delivery are experience, maturity, reliability,  and extensive, trawler specific knowledge. Whatever the parameters of the trawler delivery, Blue Goose most likely can formulate a highly realistic delivery schedule at a very economical price. Trawler delivery fees will vary, of course. You might be able to move your trawler yacht  for less expense, or so it might appear. However, there are often unforeseen cost variables that can be eliminated, avoided, or reduced through the experience, conscientiousness, and judgment  of a good captain. Further, the value added that can be realized if owners actively participate in the trawler delivery is immeasurable.
