Directions to Blue Goose at Anchorage Marina

The ANCHORAGE MARINA is located at 2501 Boston Street, in Canton, which is located in the southeastern sector of Baltimore. Visitors are requested to make an appointment with BLUE GOOSE prior to arrival at the marina. We might be on the water or picking up supplies. Further, the boat you might want to visit could be out on charter or in the yard.

(1) Proceed North on I-97/I-895, through the Harbor Tunnel (Old Tunnel), exiting at #11B -O'Donnell Street. Proceed down ramp and turn right onto O'Donnell Street. Stay on O'Donnell Street for at least a mile. You will see St. Casimir's Church straight ahead, then the SafeWay Market. Bare to the left, with the market straight ahead of you, then bare to the right, proceeding to the traffic light at Boston Street and O'Donnell Street. Turn right onto Boston Street. The river will now be on your left, the SafeWay Market on your right, the Anchorage Tower high-rise condominium on your left, and then the Anchorage Marina on your left. Ring the buzzer at the gate for entry.

(2) Proceed North on I-95, through the Fort McHenry Tunnel ( New Tunnel), exiting Boston Street (second exit), turning left at bottom of ramp, and proceeding west (back under I-95) on Boston Street until you see the Anchorage Tower, or turning right at Paca Street, just beyond the I95/I895 overpasses, then turning left onto O'Donnell Street. See (1) above.

(3) Proceed South on I-95. Stay on I-95 where I-95 (to Fort McHenry Tunnel) and I-895 (To Harbor Tunnel) split. Exit at #57 - O'Donnell Street, before the Fort McHenry Tunnel, proceed down the ramp and proceed onto O'Donnell Street West. See (1) above.

(4) Proceed South on I-895. It is strongly recommended that you do NOT try to get to the marina from I-895 heading south (no convenient exit). Stay on I-95 where I-95 (to Fort McHenry Tunnel)and I-895 (To Harbor Tunnel) split. See (3) above.

(5) Proceed North on I-295, pass under I-695 and continue north on I-295. Right after you cross over the upper middle branch of the Patapsco River (looks like a large creek), you have to look carefully for the turnoff on the right to I-895 and the Harbor Tunnel, or you will end up down town. See (1) above. Your first clue that you missed the turn is that you will run into Oriole Park at Camden Yard. If this happens, go past Oriole Park, turn right onto Pratt, and proceed as if you came in on I-395 (see following).

(6) If you are coming into Baltimore from the South via I-395, head down town, turn right onto Pratt Street, drive past the Inner Harbor, and through Little Italy. Then turn right onto Broadway and left at Fleet Street. Turn right onto Boston Street. In all cases, you simply look for the 14 story Anchorage Tower Condominium, and the twin spires of St. Casimir's Church, near the intersection of Boston and O'Donnell Streets. The Anchorage Marina is on the right, just before the Anchorage Tower, and one block before the turn off to St. Casimir's.

(7) If you are proceeding via Central or Western Pennsylvania, or West Virginia, you might choose to come South on I-83, proceed to the end of Jones Falls Expressway (JFX/I-83), which turns into President Street, and turn left onto Fleet Street, and right onto Boston Street. See (6) above.
